Seeds for Change Consulting, llc

Our Story

Always interested in collaborative efforts, Stacy Ehrlich founded Seeds for Change Consulting, LLC in 2004.  She immediately contacted some of her best friends and professional co-workers to join her as collaborative partners in the business.   Surrounded by competent, highly innovative professionals, Stacy has created a team perfect for any issue or task.   Interested in providing customized, sustainable solutions, Seeds for Change has found a critical niche in the consulting field.

In 2008 the firm matured into an official limited liability corporation or LLC and opened its corporate headquarters in central Austin.  Simultaneously, it established an East Coast office, based in Atlanta in hopes of providing customized services coast to coast.

Most of the firm partners are mothers and wives, while all are professionals and community volunteers. We hold dear to strong family values.  We have over 100 years of collective, relevant experience in marketing, accounting, public relations, fundraising, event planning, graphic design, and administrative work.  In addition, we have all worked professionally for at least one non-profit organization.  All of us currently serve or have served on executive committees of non-profit organization boards of trustees.

Since 2009 we have proactively mentored and trained Communications interns from St. Edward's University.  For Spring 2010 we welcome Kacy Markham holds a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management from Washington University in Saint Louis.  We are proud of their work and our work with them.  With a focus on real, practical learning, they are proving to be amazing additions to our special projects and business marketing plans.

Our goals include bringing affordable, viable solutions to non-profit organizations so they may better fulfill their missions of serving our communities.  We respect the work and dedication of every non-profit staff member, board member and volunteer, aiming to make their work more efficient and effective.  We enter each and every relationship with a focus on transparency of information, sustainability of program and the creation of mutually beneficial partnerships.

Finally, we are committed to supporting our communities through pro bono work and donating our talents, time and treasures to some very worthy organizations.  Recent recipients of donated work have included Heart House of Austin, Milestones for Seniors, Coats for Kids, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Blossoms Family Center, Ronald McDonald House, Partnerships for Children, St. Andrew's and Trinity Episcopal Schools, Theater Action Project, and the Junior League of Austin.

In 2009 Seeds for Change's Austin team started a monthly volunteer commitment for Mobile Loaves & Fishes.  The first Thursday of every month we spend three hours preparing and delivering food to some of our communities most needy citizens.  The filling of bellies helps us do soulful, meaningful and unselfish work together as a team.
