Fundraising for Systems Change
We all talk about the need for big-picture change. Yet many of our supporters want to see tangible results in their local communities. How do we make the case for support in organizations that build systems and affect policy, but don’t commit the majority of their resources to "direct services" to clients?
Join this roundtable discussion hosted by Seeds for Change Consulting and facilitated by
Jennifer Esterline of the Texas Education Grantmakers Consortium. Advocacy groups, associations, foundations, partnership-building and intermediary organizations are encouraged to attend.
Bring your ideas, your challenges and your stories of success.
When: Thursday, August 21, 2014; 8:00 – 9:30 a.m.
Where: Café Express; 3418 N Lamar Blvd

Chaparral Eurythmy is a small performing arts group affiliated with the Austin Waldorf School. I am one of the founding members. The last SFCC workshop I attended was on grant writing. Since then, we are very happy to report, our group has become a Sponsored Project of the Austin Creative Alliance. In addition, our art is 100 years old this year, and our historic Centennial Performances were supported by the City of Austins’ Cultural Arts Division with a Community Initiatives Grant. Thank you for the SFCC workshop, guidance and encouragement! - Director, Austin
