Stacy Wheeler Ehrlich, CFRE
Founder and Managing Partner
Stacy leads Seeds for Change Consulting and its team of consultants to provide customized, wrap-around services for non-profit organizations to maximize their potential in meeting their missions. Stacy brings her organizational skills, 24 years of high-level nonprofit experience, and desire to serve the community to help organizations achieve their goals and objectives through systematic, effective and efficient organization and planning. Currently Stacy does not work on client projects but rather spends most of her time and energy running the firm's operations while also managing a local non-profit as its strategic Executive Director.
Bergan Norris Casey
Public Relations & Communications
A founding team member of Seeds for Change, Bergan has more than 25 years of experience managing public relations/public affairs, information campaigns and other communication strategies. She provides a comprehensive set of communications services for clients seeking to raise and strengthen their public profiles, including media relations, event planning, communication and development strategies, and collateral materials development.
Erica V. Ekwurzel, CFRE
Strategic Planning, Development & Communications
Erica has been working in the nonprofit sector for over fourteen years and as she puts it, “on both sides of the table”—first as a fundraising coordinator and development director for both large and small nonprofit institutions, and later as a program officer and then consultant for a private family foundation. Bringing her unique perspective of the funder to her work with Seeds for Change clients, Erica provides expert advice on nonprofit and philanthropic strategic planning, program evaluation, communication, and fund development.
Leadership, Volunteers and Strategic Planning
As of August 1, 2013, Liz joined Seeds for Change, having most recently served as the Executive Director of IMPACT Austin. Liz brings years of comprehensive executive leadership, volunteer management, funding strategies, event planning and program evaluation to the team and the firm's clients. She most enjoys facilitation, board development, event planning and program expansion projects.
August W. Harris, III
Major Gift Campaigns & Government Relations
August has more than 25 years of civic leadership, community engagement, and high-level service on numerous Boards. He brings an expert understanding of government relations and keen business sense to his work with Seeds for Change clients. Focused on major gift campaigns, strategic planning and execution, and an eye on fiscal viability and reliability, August is a treasure for both the firm and its clients.
Communications, Community Relations, and Social Media Strategist
Narissa has more than a decade of experience as a communications, community relations, program, and campaign strategist. She has been working within the nonprofit community in Austin for over ten years and continues to be an active part of the community. She provides strategic counsel, plans, and execution of the tactics to strengthen organizations’ traditional communications, social media, and community goals. Narissa enjoys discovering and sharing emerging trends and new best practices in the field.
Grant Writing & Development
Amy is a seasoned grants professional, knowledgeable in all aspects of grants management, including budgets, reporting, and proposal preparation. She combines those skills with a deep knowledge of the philanthropic community and a passion for developing non-profit funding strategies that empower organizations to meet their missions and strategic priorities.
Project Management and Strategic Programming
Christina has a decade of experience working in the non-profit sector with a particular focus in science and math education. Specifically, she has a deep experience in strategic, mission based non-profit programming including STEM and out of school curriculum development. Her expertise includes project management, budget preparation, and evaluation. As a published author, she is well equipped to convey a client’s vision and their impact on the community.
Comprehensive Development and Event Planning
Kacey is experienced in all aspects of running an effective capital campaign, from involving organizational leadership to engaging new donors and creating captivating publicity pieces. She is adept at managing the entire grant writing process—identifying prospects, cultivating leads, winning proposals and managing/reporting on accomplishments—with successes ranging from small private foundations to large state and federal programs. Kacey also provides clients with highly professional and organized event planning services.
Strategic Organizational Systems and Program Evaluation
Andrea has nearly 20 years of experience in Austin’s local government and nonprofit sectors where she assembled a diverse set of skills in the areas of fundraising, program management, and program evaluation. She particularly enjoys working with organizations to help them measure their performance and improve their systems and processes.
